ColbyDear Potential Owner,I am a 5-years-old male cat in search of a new forever home. And I mean f-o-r-e-v-e-r. I have had four owners in my short life and have been in and out of the HSHC eight times, usually for being a stray, and I think enough is enough. I am the first to admit that I am not everyone's idea of the perfect cat. I am mercurial, meaning my moods can change quickly. I love attention, but my tolerance for physical touch is brief. I have lived in a rural setting and the city. I MUCH prefer the country. I like the wind in my hair and bugs in my teeth. I get along well with some cats or dogs, and others drive me batty. I am completely housebroken, already neutered, and very healthy. Coincidentally, I am handsome with an attractive, outgoing personality. Just don't give me too much attention due to the aforementioned mood swings! My ideal home would be in the country with plenty of space to roam safely and a comfy home to which I can return. I am destined to be more than a "barn cat" who prefers no human company. But I will never be that snuggly, indoor lap-cat who sleeps with his family and can't bear to be apart. Due to my "short fuse," I must live in an adult-only home and prefer to be an indoor-outdoor cat. You could also try training me to walk on a harness and lead, but that sounds challenging.
