Meet Millie, a lovely 1-year old Pit Bull Mix who weighs 44.8 pounds. We don't know much about her past, but we know she didn't have a great start to life. Her foster family found her abandoned in a park last summer. She was emaciated and neglected. As you can imagine, it takes her a little while to feel comfortable enough to trust new people, so she needs an adult only home. With a lot of love and TLC in her foster home, Millie has blossomed into an energetic, playful, and loving girl. She loves to go for long walks, play fetch in the backyard, or take a nap on your lap. If you're willing to go slow and give Millie the time she needs to adjust, she'll reward you with all the love you could ask for!Millie is house and crate-trained. She gets along well with cats, but she needs to be the only dog in the household because she resource-guards her food and toys.Her ideal home will be one with a patient and loving owner who will provide plenty of activity to exercise her body and mind. Millie's foster mom mentioned that she can be vocal when she doesn't have enough activity.Once she trusts someone, Millie is a happy and loyal girl.
