What’s it all about ALFIE? You know the movie from long ago brings to mind the search for purpose in life and we are searching with our Chihuahua mix boy Alfie to find a purposeful family to love him. Our 4 year old, 17 pound, Alfie came to us so very scared and shutdown from meeting people. Now he looks forward to his daily walks on a leash and the attention and love from his foster mom and the dogs in her home. Alfie just wants to be sweet and love you. His daily walks will be a MUST to do even twice a day and the chance to play with another dog or dogs is what we are looking for in a new home. We are so happy to announce that this boy is great with cats and he loves women a lot and has to warm up to the men who approach. When on a walk he is working on accepting that some people are running toward him and will not harm him. Alfie loves to cuddle up by your feet when you are working or to sleep under the covers at night. He doesn’t mind being in a crate and adores being asked if he wants to go for rides in the car. Alfie is learning how to accept new experiences on his walk. Our handsome boy probably has a story that we don’t want to know because it might make us sad AND mad. Alfie once was broken but he is healing and we know there is a home that will help him continue to gain his confidence and love for the world around him.
