Doubloon is a handsome 5-1/2 year old male kitty who was brought to the HSOV on October 29, 2023 along with several other kitties who had shared his home including Groucho, Nickel, Quarter, and Silver Dollar. Sadly, their mistress who dearly loved them all very much had passed away recently, and there was nowhere for her beloved pets to call home. This good-looking guy has a gray tabby short smooth coat with a small patch of white on his chest, a long tail, and a beautiful face with green/gold eyes, a gray velvet nose, and extra-long white whiskers. Doubloon has an affectionate, easygoing personality. When Doubloon first entered our shelter, we mistakenly thought "he" was a mother cat since he was with three young kittens and was so loving to them .. Turned out he was a "Mr. Mom" instead (smile) Gotta love a guy like Doubloon who is kind to kittens. Doubloon was given vaccinations, Pyrantel wormer, and flea treatment on October 30, 2023. He weighed 7.9 lbs that day. These photos of Doubloon were taken on November 3, 2023 after he was moved to The Jungle Room (one of our adoptable cat rooms). Doubloon was neutered on November 28, 2023 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 9.4 lbs that day. Doubloon has a healthy appetite and enjoys good food.
