This is Josie! Josie was brought to the APL with several other cats who were abandoned outside of a home. It took several weeks to trap and get them to safety at the shelter. We discovered that Josie was pregnant once she got here. Josie spent some time in a foster home with her babies, but she is now fixed, fully vetted, and ready to go home! Josie did test positive for FIV, or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. FIV only affects cats and it is spread through deep bite or puncture wounds. With love and care, an FIV positve cat can live a happy, normal lifespan! We would love to get her into her furever home before her kittens become available. Josie is very talkative and playful and she loves attention and cuddles! She is also very tidy and keeps her space clean. Josie is such a sweet kitty and ready to be in a home with lots of love!
