Meg arrived at the shelter very emaciated and had to be fed small amounts of food throughout the day. She has been a happy-go-lucky girl from day one and seems to love everyone she meets! Her tail is always wagging! Meg is lyme positive and due to showing symptoms was started on a round of antibiotics which she has taken like a champ! During her Vet exam it was found that her right hind leg at the knee is thickened possibly due to a very old and now healed, ACL injury which does cause a hop to her step every now and then, but it does not slow her down! She loves to go for walks and enjoys playing ball in the play yard here at the shelter. Meg may be too much for small children who are not used to large dogs, so an age restriction for children in the home may apply, please discuss this with shelter staff. Meg would love to find out what a forever home is all about soon! Meg has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/Lyme tested, and microchipped since her arrival at the shelter.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Meg, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
