Mickey is a cute 5-month old male Yellow Labrador Retriever mix puppy who was picked up on State Route 260 (Mile Marker #2) in the New Matamoras Ohio area by a Washington County Deputy Sheriff on the evening of November 13, 2023. Mickey was not wearing a collar, and he was not microchipped. Mickey has a cream/blond short smooth coat, a long tail, and a beautiful puppy face with amber-colored eyes, a liver-colored nose, and short semi-erect ears. This little cutie pie was full of playful puppy energy when HSOV Humane Officer Fredley Tynan brought him outdoors for photos on the afternoon of November 14th. Mickey made the most of his 15-minutes of fame. He had a ball running laps around Fredley and soaking up attention. Mickey is a petite youngster who weighs 32 lbs. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Mickey will be held for three days so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.
