Collie-Labrador Retriever Mix Dog for Adoption in Berlin, Maryland, 21811 USNickname: Honey Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Collie / Mixed. Honey had a loving home for mosts of her life but her owner had a fall and was no longer able to care for her. She has been in one of our foster homes for 6 months and she is an "easy-keeper" She is a young 9 year old girl who is housetrained and walks ok on a leash. She is affectionate and would be a great choice for a low activity household. She loves to go for walks and in the car but is also happy just hanging around. She is slightly overweight but is on a consistent diet to get that under control. She seems to enjoy her kennel mate, Slugger and we think she would be ok with a male dog of around her size and would do fine alone. No cats or tiny dogs for this girl but you will fall in love with her. She loves every person she meets and deserves her own home. She is an a heated/air conditioned home kennel with her own run but she misses being around her person. Please consider her- you won't be sorry.
