Brittany is a 7-month-old Lab mix. As she got bigger, we noticed Brittany looked a little bit different in her back end. We took X-Rays and to our surprise she had a defect in her pelvis. We aren’t sure if she was born this way like a birth defect or caused from an injury when she was very young before coming into our care. As of now she is a happy loving playful puppy that isn’t even phased by the fact she’s a little bit different. She doesn’t show any signs of being painful at all even when the doctor manipulates her hips. So as for now we aren’t going to do surgery since she isn’t in any Pain or causing problems. Recovery time from the surgery she would need is painful and takes about 4-6 months. Brittany needs a loving home, one that can take good care of her and be understanding that she’s just a little different and this makes her very special.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Brittany, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
