BEAR is a handsome boy with the sweetest disposition and most gentle, loving heart ever! He adores other dogs from tiny to giant and currently shares his foster home with one older dog. BEAR has a huge supply of love which he happily shares with humans and pups alike. He has truly never met a stranger and absolutely thrives off of making those around him happy. BEAR isn't just all good looks though, he is also an intelligent fellow. He learned the routine in his foster home lightning fast. In a matter of a few short days, it was like he had always lived there. This boy is full of character and his goofy self will bring so much light into his new family’s life. He makes his foster family laugh every day, especially with his choices of places to sleep. BEAR loves to play with all of his toys, but his favorite games are fetch and tug. He also truly enjoys his walks. He is a perfect gentleman during car rides and would make an excellent partner for all of life’s adventures. BEAR is confident and happy in new situations, making it easy to take him everywhere. He has nice house manners and does fabulously in his crate when his foster family is not at home. All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Pet Express Transport (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com) for our Nashville, Knoxville and New England adoptions. For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport. Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff. Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated.
