Pippi Longlegs American Pit Bull Terrier Adult Female

Location:
Provo, UT
Description:

They say the best things come in small packages. That couldn't be more true for this little petite princess! Meet Pipi Longlegs. She is estimated at 8 months old and 41 lbs of lean muscle. You think 40 lbs and think big, this girl is teeny! But with a big personality, and legs for days!! She loves other dogs and ADORES people!! A total pleaser and ready to be your BFF for life, if you'll allow. She is happiest wherever her human is and the best companion. Do you enjoy training or ever wanted a dog that you can easily train? She can totally be this! Pipi is S-M-A-R-T!! Add this to her food motivation and you have yourself a very attentive and eager to learn pup! Though she hasn't been introduced to it, we are pretty confident she would shine in agility. That's the level of training potential that Pipi possesses. She knows some basic commands, such as sit, stay, and leave it. Her leash skills can use a little polishing, but can ya blame a girl for being excited about life?! Pipi works with our team daily and is making great stride to prepare to go wherever the wind takes both of you! Perfect size and energy to take on outdoor adventures, but also a total lovebug to catch some snuggles on the couch. Pipi is great with other dogs. She can play with big or small and fits in easily in just about any group play. Has excellent potential for doggy daycare, dog parks or one on one play. If you have a pup that enjoys to romp and play and needs a play buddy for companionship and to tire them out, you have found our girl! She would love to romp around in a backyard, then come inside for a good nap. She is a sweet gentle girl and doesn't mind sharing food and toys with other pups. She is crate trained. Though she would prefer to be with you, a consistent crate routine is important to help Pipi continue on the path to grow to be the best girl that she can be. Pipi is all fun and pure innocence, but may be a little too excitable for a household with small toddlers or kitties. If her skills haven't impressed you yet, you just wait until you lay your eyes on her beautiful, shiny blue coat, mesmerizing green eyes and a smile so big and contagious that it will make every single day just a little bit brighter. She brings a smile to everyone's face with her presence and livens up a room full of pups effortlessly. Whatcha waiting for?! Apply today! You don't get this lucky in adopting a pup too often! Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.)• A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week)• One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan• 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan• Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
