How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by a good Samaritan on December 8, 2022. At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home! Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Leia, a beautiful girl with toe beans like no other. Leia's journey began as a stray, but she has now found herself in a loving foster home, eager to embark on her next chapter. Although she may be timid and fearful, Leia's sweet nature shines through, and with the right amount of patience and understanding, she has the potential to blossom into a remarkable companion. Leia would benefit from a calm and peaceful household, free from loud noises or sudden disruptions that may overwhelm her. She would do well with a quiet space where she can retreat to when she feels overwhelmed. This would provide her with a sense of security and help her gradually build confidence at her own pace. While in foster, Leia has been working with our amazing behavior and training staff to help build her confidence and would need a consult with everyone in the home present so the whole family can learn how to best help Leia.
