To know a shepherd (or shepherd mix) is to love one. Ziva is no exception, and has won the hearts of those here at the shelter. She was a fabulous mom to 12 puppies and now it's time for her to be spoiled. She arrived as a stray so we know very little about her early life.She has earned the spot of "helper" dog in playgroup. There have been very few dogs Ziva has not gotten along with, she has taught our younger rowdy crowd how to properly play and sets boundaries with them. She has offered her softer side to those that are insecure and afraid. Like most shepherds she can be vocal, especially when unknown people are approaching her space. However has responded well to positive training, and looking forward to having an owner that will continue to allow her to grow into the amazing dog we know she can be.
