Are you looking for a lovable, playful young adult cat? Well, here's the skinny on Minnie: I'm a buff tabby female who's estimated to be 2-1/2-years old, and I was brought to the shelter by a person who found me tied with a leash to their front porch railing. I hope you understand why I can be skittish and not 100% relaxed about being in the shelter. I sometimes behave as if I am "on alert"; I become startled and stop what I'm doing if I hear sudden noises. I even hide at times. But I can be coaxed out of my hiding spot with a wand toy. I love to play, especially with feather wand toys and the laser light! That makes me forget my fears. I enjoy running around, climbing cat towers, and exploring every nook and cranny. After I feel comfortable with someone, I like having my neck scratched and being petted. I'm good about being picked up. I like brushing for a short time, but I become overstimulated quickly, so one needs to watch my body language. I'm hoping for a home with some toys and lots of love where I can be your Minnie for a long, long time!
