JC is about the 4 to 6 year range. He was a feral cat turned friendly when taken in by a good Samaritan so that is the estimated age range. JC is a little shy at first but comes around pretty fast. He likely isn't a 'lap.cat' but will come to.you for pets and ear scratches on his terms. If you would like to make JC part of.your family, fill out an application at www.barktownrescue.org JC's adoption fee is $75. The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess. Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
