Meet MonkeySay hello to Monkey! Monkey is an adorable Chihuahua who is approximately 3 years old and weighs 6.6 pounds. He and his little friend Socks came into our care after they were owner-surrendered. We do not know about his background, but we can tell you that although he is a little shy right now, he is a very kind-hearted dog who we know will make a sweet companion. Monkey is a happy, playful little dude who is having fun with toys and getting some yummy treats. He loves to be held and really just likes spending time with his person. He is the sweetest little soul who would be a great family member for someone who wants a loyal and loving buddy. Monkey gets along well with his little friend Socks, so they could be adopted as a pair...if you are looking for double the Chihuahua fun. Monkey would do best in a quieter home without small children so he can settle in and get to know his new family. We just love this little cutie and can’t wait for him to find his forever home! Monkey is located in a loving foster home in San Antonio, Texas and is available for transport to Clearwater, Florida on December 23, 2023. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $400. The fee includes the transport cost. ***Please note: If approved to adopt, you MUST be available to pick up Monkey at our adoption event in Clearwater the morning of 12/23. *Monkey did test positive for heart worm and is currently being treated with us.
