She was found by a very kind person who saw she was neglected and being kept in a wire cage on a porch. Peanut Butter Cup was brought to safety with notable signs of a hard life -- having pressure sores, ulcerated paws and scrapes on her legs. But despite it all, she continues to show resilience and hope for a loving home. Do you have space in your home and your heart for sweet girl Peanut Butter Cup? Staff Notes: A Staff member approached Peanut Butter Cup in her kennel and she was cuddled up in her bed. She did not seem interested in coming out of her kennel, but once her handler crouched down at the door, she approached very slowly. She would frequently cough and did not have much interest in walking, but was slowly coaxed out of the shelter. They brought her into the yard so she could enjoy the sunshine and she just laid in her handler's lap with her head resting in their hands. She allowed all over petting and it was evident that she was not feeling well.
