Gilbert, Gilly, Gilberto are just a few of the names this sweet boy goes by. Gilbert is a 4-4.5 year old staffie mix who is excited to find his forever walking partner. Gilbert enjoys several things: attention, food, and all the pets he can get. This Adoption event star travels to different locations every weekend and meets all the people he can, yet still sits at the shelter without a home. Gilbert hasn't met a person he doesn't like and leans in for pets with grace and affection. Gilbert is very treat motivated and knows all of his basic commands. He casually walks at his handler's side and would love a low key home where he can snooze during the day in peace and quiet. Gilbert is clean in his kennel and is housebroken. He has been waiting many months for a home and hopes he'll find someone looking for calm and gentle giant (82lbs to be exact).
