HI, I'm Gibbs or Gibson if I am being stubborn, which never happens…I just get distracted! I'm 6.5 years old and I look to be a mix with Great Dane, but I have been told I have all the amazing qualities of a Dane, including the lean, I am very good at that! I love to be everywhere my people are, especially on their laps! When I want a little extra attention I will nudge you for pets or look deep into your eyes. I am a very good boy and I have been told I am such a chill boy. I learn super fast and I already know sit, lay down, up, and off. I am getting better at coming when I am called, but sometimes I get so distracted by all the sights and smells! I am learning to walk better and better on leash and love to go for walks! I love to run around the yard and play with my jolly ball! I will also just lay in the yard and bask in the sun with my head in your lap, that's my favorite thing! Having a fenced in yard lets me have lots of fun and stay safe. I love to go for car rides, I am super good with baths, nail trims, ear cleaning, and believe it or not, I like going to the vet! I am not a big talker unless I see something exciting (like other doggos) outside. I am house trained, muzzle trained, and kennel trained as well! Since I tend to go on scavenger hunts for snacks, it is best that I am kenneled when you are not home. I love to sleep in my kennel, but I am the world's best snuggler if you let me sleep in bed with you! I would do best in a home with no other pets and no small kiddos as I get a little stressed out and can resource guard things from other pets that can't be taken away like space and sticks among other things. I love people and have done well with meeting new people in the community and at my foster mom's house, they tell me I am such a good boy! I could benefit from continued training and a going to a home who is willing to work with me on my resource guarding with other doggos. My foster mom says she is sure going to miss me a lot when I get adopted and always tells me I am the best boy and such a love!
