Bono is a sweet little boy who was born outside to a feral momma. A nice man found him and his siblings, however, they were all killed by a fox but him. He was taken to the vet to be treated and placed on antibiotics and then was surrendered to the rescue to find a forever home. While in care Bono wasn't thriving and after some blood work he was found to have FIP. With the support of the FIP Warriors, he completed treatment and has thrived and is healthy. Upon completion of treatment, his FIP is not indicated on the bloodwork, however, he has tested FIV+. FIV+ is only transferred by deep wound bites. Therefore he does have a lowered immune system, but should still live a long and happy life. Bono is a cuddly little purr machine. He loves to play with balls with bells in them and loves to cuddle up in your lap. He does have an eye that due to infection is not functional, however, it doesn't bother him and it does not need any long term care or removal. Purely aesthetic. Bono was born around September 2022 and is currently living at a foster home with several other foster kitties and dogs who he gets along very well with. He is very curious and outgoing. Special kitties and the people who love them deserve special treatment. That’s why Bono has a watercolor portrait which will be given as our gift to the special person who adopts him. If you are interested in Bono, his adoption fee is $90. This includes vaccines, FeLV/FIV testing, neuter, microchip, deworm and flea treatment as well as his medical care he had to receive. Please note: LCCR does not allow our adopted cats and kittens to be declawed.
