Lulu was born in Texas as a stray and thankfully a nice woman was willing to foster her and her littermates so they didn’t have to grow up on the street. Now that Lulu got her freedom ride up to NY, she is ready to find her forever family that will love and spoil her! Lulu is the sweetest girl with SO much love to give. Her favorite thing to do, is just be with her humans (big and small!). She loves to follow you everywhere you go, play, snuggle and even watch TV. Lulu also loves to play with other dogs. She is quite submissive, picks up on social cues, and shares well. She would LOVE to have another dog to play with but she also wouldn’t mind having you all to herself! Lulu is incredibly smart and has picked up on her new routine VERY quickly. She has made great progress with her potty training and is most successful when taken out on a schedule. She stays in her crate during the day while her foster parents are at work and hasn’t had any accidents while in her crate! Since she will bark when initially put in her crate, apartment living is not recommended for this girl. Don’t worry, after a few minutes she quiets down and enjoys chewing a toy Think it can’t get any better? Well it does! Lulu is a really quick learner! She responds to her name and knows the commands “sit” and “come”. She is easy to walk on a leash and even sits nicely while you hook the leash to her collar. She loves going outside and definitely enjoys playing in the snow! Lulu loves to snuggle in bed at night. She sleeps right through the night without any accidents and when she is ready to wake up, she will let you know with kisses If you are looking for a dog that will be your best friend, your shadow, the peanut butter to your jelly , the mac to your cheese, then Lulu just might be perfect for you!
