Coonhound-Retriever Mix Dog for Adoption in Mountain View, Arkansas, 72560 USNickname: Rain Posted Breed: Coonhound / Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Rain is such a beautiful hound dog! Her black fur gleams reddish color in the sunlight and she has those long droopy hound ears - so gorgeous! Rain is friendly and curious, very eager to learn and to please. Her mother is a Golden Retriever and we have no idea who dad is but he was obviously a hound, probably a Coonhound. Rain came to us with her brother Blaze. Rain is just under a year old and weighs 60lbs, but shouldn't get much bigger. Rain has never been inside before coming to the shelter. She does pee inside but holds her poo, so house-training should be a breeze. She is also very smart - she is the leader of the pair.
