Hello, I'm Ziggy! I came to the shelter as a stray and now I am looking for my furever home. I am a sweet pup who enjoys attention and TLC. I do have some handling sensitivity and prefer affection and touch on my own terms. I have the typical headstrong nature of a border collie. Any children in the home need to be 13 and older because I will react if something happens to me that I don't like. I am a really smart dog and will certainly have more energy when I lose some weight. I may do well with another dog and/or cat with proper introduction. If you are looking for a lovable companion who can also be independently minded, then I am your man! ---Our facility is open daily from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM, meet and greet appointments are highly recommended.
