Cyrus is a handsome young pup who was born in a saw mill lumberyard, to a stray momma dog that is a Great Pyrenees mix. Once he and his seven siblings were old enough, they started wondering around the millyard and getting under the dangerous equipment. The litter was rescued by a kind lady who took them home and contacted Critter Cavalry for help. He was born approximately 9/29/23 and is currently 20 pounds. He will be a large breed dog averaging 85- pounds according to the dog weight calculator and will require routine brushing. Cyrus is a fluffy, soft, and cuddly little charmer who gives love to all he meets and to emphasize his personality, he even has a little heart shaped mark on his nose. If it was up to him, he would cuddle all day with his foster Mom. He spends his days playing and napping and is such a good pup with baths and nail dremel. He plays with any dog, and although exposed to cats, he gets overly excited to play, which the cats don't appreciate. If he was not in a group of puppies, his foster Mom believes he would calm down around the cats. He will make a great pet for a family with or without children and hes around 3 year old twins now. . The Great Pyrenees breed was bred to be the guardian of livestock, therefore, they an independent breed and represent a calm, well mannered but serious dog known for great devotion to family. They love the cold weather and enjoy being outdoors but all to often, the breed is neglected and left outdoors due to this. He is looking for a family who will raise him as a pet and not a working livestock dog.
