Ever meet a Mini Shepherd? Meet Cowboy and Bali! This bonded pair of cuties are very dog social, walk well on leash, are house-trained, and have come so far since they were saved from a sad situation with not much hope in sight. Fast forward through lots of of love and patience in their foster home, showing them that the world has a lot less scary than they thought - and they’re now excited to see the people they know and trust - with wagging tails, kisses, and the adorable tap of their paw on you to say “hey, I’m here and want some attention”. They both love hikes, snuggles, and being part of the pack. The (not so tall) dark and handsome, Cowboy at about 1 year old, is playful, energetic and warms up to strangers fairly quickly. He loves to play chase, toss his toys up in the air, and get out for a walk or hike. Bali is more of a chill girl at approximately 2 years old, with the cutest little Corgi ears and beautiful tan and black coloring. She's more reserved with new humans, but once you earn that trust, she’s so full of love. She’ll snuggle right up to you, and want to be your best friend. Both pups are very smart, and gain confidence from being with a confident dog buddy. The ideal home for them would have a friendly but respectful resident dog, with a securely fenced yard. They continue to surprise us with their determination to be brave and take on new things. They quickly figured out how to use a dog door on their own - something that might have been seen as scary, but when they saw how it worked, they didn’t hesitate to jump on that freedom of going in and out of the house whenever they want. If you’re looking for a pair of dog friendly, medium size companions, and have some patience yourself - you’ll be hugely rewarded with the love these two have to offer.
