Flocked Faux (I call her Sesame!) is quite literally the perfect companion. She has so much love to give and wants to be with her person as much as possible. She is adapting at a fantastic speed here in Brooklyn, staying calm and collected when loud noises and cars zoom by. She will walk on the leash well until she is fed up (then she asks you to be carried by stand on her hind legs and tapping you gently). She is learning to potty at the park, it takes a minute but she's improving every time we go out. If she could stay inside all day snoozing she would but she's also very happy to go in a bag and hang out with you in a car or on the go. Flocked Faux has some separation anxiety - another thing she is already improving on but needs patience and love. She is happy to chill out all day if she knows you are close by but if you leave she'll bark and be very distressed. I have been putting my coat and shoes on and exiting then coming back which has helped normalize the situation for her and build trust that i'll come back. I think she would thrive in an environment where her family are in and out often or WFH and able to give her the reassurance she needs to settle. Asides from needing some help with her separation anxiety she is quite literally the easiest little old lady to take care of. She wants to be loved and cuddled & just spend time with you or snooze next to you. She is super healthy and has great energy for her age but I carry her up the stairs since since she's 10.Personality & Characteristics:My foster dog is good with: Dogs, Kids, CatsMy foster dog is: House trained, Low shed3 Keywords for your pup: Calm, Cozy, Affectionate Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 3Barker? She makes great company and doesn't mind being in a bag watching the world go by while you run errands!. Commands/Tricks: She knows how to tell you she wants lifted, she’ll stand on her back legs and tap ur knee it’s very cute. Otherwise not many commands that I’ve noticed because she’s most likely, already sitting! :) ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract.
