She uses a doggie door at her forster mom's house and loves being able to go in and out. She is learning to walk nicelfy on a leash with positive reinforcement training and patience. Cookie will sit on command and knows to sit nice in order to be fed.She can be very interested in what's going outside so be smart when you open the door; she is a bit of a door dasher. She's also a little nosey when it comes to all those tasty food items on the counter and can try and be sly to grab a morsal or two. Her foster mom is working on her counter surfacing skills and redirecting her curiousity.She is friendly new people and friends that have come over to her house. She also loves car rides and going place. So if you want a road trip companion, she would be a great choice. We think she would be fine as an only dog. If you have another pup, they have to be ready to handle her rough style of play. Remember slow introductions with new family members is best. She has started to meet young people and likes them; she may need a home with older children as she has a lot of happy, playful energy and she may accidently knock over kids.DOB (02/13/2021) As part of Cookie's $300 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
