From her foster: "Gemma had a rough start at life, but you'd never know it. Gemma had parvovirus as a 2 pound puppy and after many days of vigorous hospitalization, multiple blood transfusions, and lots of love, she has turned into a 19 pound bundle of energy! Gemma has lots of energy, and loves to spend her time outside playing with other dogs, cats, livestock, or whatever animal you put with her. She could run for 12 hours straight, but as soon as you pick her up she melts in your arms. "Gemma would do great in a high energy home with either a fenced in yard or a farm setting as she loves her current foster home with livestock and lots of room to run.
