Named for his stature: tall & powerful like an Oak Tree 🌿Nickname: Bubba because he’s like a big southern granpa Sweet, gentle, considers himself a lapdog, extremely loyal & protective, & a lover. Oakley has learned how to be a dog through the help of his sister Ariel; but is still learning and growing. Being heartworm free has given him a new lease on life! (The rescue treated him for heart worm when he entered our care). Oakley loves: ⁃ Short walks ⁃ Being outside ⁃ Rubs & puppy massages ⁃ Snuggling ⁃ Kids (babies & beyond) ⁃ Cats (he doesn’t mind them) ⁃ Treats (especially frozen peanut butter kongs) ⁃ A fuzzy blanket to lay on Oakley isn’t so fond of: ⁃ Being alone or separated from his person or tribe ⁃ Unfamiliar dogs, as he is protective Please apply for this sweet gentleman at apply.neshamarescue.org
