He was part of the litter that was dumped in a watery ditch in Arkansas with his litter mates and Mama. πŸ₯Ί The Angel, Sabrina, kept us updated regularly on their progress through posts. I know -I personally was deeply moved by their videos and how hard they all fought- as so many of you did as well. And I was so deeply saddened when so many lost that fight. We all rooted for the remaining pups! I’m so happy Phoenix was able to fight with all his might! Today he is able to continue to carry his siblings legacy with him each day he gets a little stronger! And let me tell you just how strong that little boy is! He weighs in at about 30lbs and continuing to gain which is amazing in, and of itself. His hair is growing fast and soon his little bald spots will be no more. And let me tell you- He has enough energy to fill a gymnasium. We all are SO thankful to Sabrina-who fought as hard as Phoenix has. Had it not been for her- I truly feel the whole litter would’ve lost the battle. He continues to thrive and is ready for his forever home. He’s the perfect example of, not only why fostering and rescue are so important, but also their stories of survival as well as, all the lessons the sweet rescue babies teach us.
