How Princess Scout is still waiting for her people to find her is beyond me. She was adopted and returned for a reason that I 100% believe was misunderstood. You see when excited Scout jumps with an open mouth and will also close her open mouth. I fear that when she bit the delivery person it was out of playful energy and a lack of training rather than anything reactive, as she knew the delivery man and had taken treats from him prior. We had also been told it was severe but actually it didn’t require any stitches or medical attention per the form the owners filled out when the abandoned her, dumping her like a discarded broken TV, at the shelter without another thought. That being said she is protective of her home and her family. If you’re going to have ppl over please put her in a bedroom or a crate, she’s perfectly crate trained. This girl is amazing and truly deserves to find her ppl and settle into her home. We thought she would have found it months ago but alas she’s still here, waiting.Below is the link to her original post with all her info however she’s clearly no longer shut down or obese, actually we are working on getting some weight back on her thanks to her love of running and embracing the active lifestyle she adores.
