My name is Arctic, and I need to set the record straight. I may have been picked up as a stray, but I wasn't "astray"...I am on the search for the best thing I could ever ask for: a forever family... Word on the doggy grapevine is that this is the place to make it happen. So here I am- come gaze into my baby blues and let's fall in love!I'm an active and smart boy who loves playing fetch with my squeaky toys and always eager to plop down in a kiddie pool to cool off. My favorite game is playing catch and tossing the ball back to you. I know the words sit, down and shake and happy to show you how smart I am. I enjoy outdoor activities and being spontaneous. My personality is larger than life, full of energy and exuberance! I love trying to figure out food puzzles. And I enjoy long walks to explore new smells. When I'm done playing and want to relax I like to roll onto my back with my toy in my mouth. I enjoy my independence but still prefer when my people are around. Here's what I need in my new home: I don't appreciate tail-tuggers, I am a fella who likes my boundaries respected. Because of that, I need to go to a home with kids over 10 where everyone understands how to read my cues and respect my space.I would like to meet any kids I might be living with.I need to be the only pet for now. It's possible I might be able to have animal friends down the line, once I've settled comfortably into a loving home, but a family who understands I might prefer to remain your one and only would be best for me.I need a yard with a 6 ft wood fence.I'm on a special training and enrichment plan.
