SHARE SHARE SHARE!!!! I have personally met and worked with this dog and she is a great dog! Marley checks all of the boxes for a great pet! Friendly, sweet, very trainable GSD rescued out of Texas by SSDR has many admirers among her caregivers and people who meet her and work with her. She is athletic and can scale fencing in search of her human.THIS IS DUE TO HER SEPARATION ANXIETY. As long as she gets settled in with a routine with a permanent home she will be a great dog and will stay with you because she loves you. Street Savvy has worked with these types of dogs over the years and always finds just the right homes for them but unless we find a work from home or stay at home adopter(s) She will be forced to move yet again to another foster home that is not really the right setting for her. This wonderful dog needs somebody who will care for her inside the home and give her all the love, time and attention she deserves. The SSDR foster is experienced but cannot keep her inside their home as there are too many dogs and too many female dogs which causes stress to the dogs ( she'll have to be kenneled inside the garage) and walked and played with outside intermittently throughout the day. Her backstory includes former owners who expressed dissatisfaction that she "didn't stay home" although they never contained her. She was largely ignored and was seeking attention from others! Marley was very lucky indeed that a Street Savvy Texas foster mom who used to Foster for us in Oregon stepped up to help out! An assessment of her was done in the shelter and it was deemed that she was fine with other dogs when introduced properly. Marley learned to coexist with the other male senior dog in her Texas foster home once she had time to decompress and be introduced slowly. Marley loves playing in and being near water and loves her special orange ball. She is now in Oregon and ready for her forever home! Her adoption fee includes a Freedom harness, leash, Martingale collar, SSDR training clicker and bag of training treats.Her new owners need to understand that it will be a great idea for her to continue her education in an obedience class or with at home force-free training.
