Meet Tina! Tina entered Riverside Shelter as a stray, just as she had 8 years ago in 2015, but this time, her known owner did not come for her, and she was marked for euthanasia. Fortunately, we scooped her up on April 15th just in time to become a Frosted Face. Tina is 10 years old and weighs 45 lbs. - a pocket pittie! This sweet and happy girl never has to worry about being lost and unwanted again. Tina has been living with a foster family the last four months, and we have learned she is potty trained, wonderfully behaved, and a very loving foster sister to the four other dogs in the home. She enjoys going to work at her Foster Mom's hair salon and is very popular with the customers! Here is an update from Tina's Foster Mom: “Tina would like her future family to know that she's a big fan of cuddling, humans or dogs! This girl has really come a long way and is so much more confident. She also now has a nice shiny coat and is a healthy weight! She is as easy as they come. Fully potty trained and will take herself out whenever she needs to go. When not given access to the yard, she doesn't have accidents. Tina loves people! She likes to always know where you are and will lay by you. She’s definitely a couch potato but enjoys walks or running around in the yard when I play with her. She also loves all four of my dogs. She’s super sweet with them and loves to give them kisses. She definitely gets more confident when she’s with the other dogs. Tina has come a long way since I first started fostering her. She’s been progressing and really gaining confidence! She is a true hidden gem. She still has some anxiety in public places if there is a lot of noise, but at home and on walks, she’s absolutely amazing!
