Spanky is one of many dogs coming into the shelter who we`re sure had owners, but without identification tags or a microchip we`re unable to reunite them with those owners. He came into the shelter as a stray from Kingdom Heights on 4/17/23. He`s a very friendly boy - and so dog gone handsome and photogenic! He`s very polite on leash and doesn`t pull at all! He enjoys spending time with people and being pet. He`s also got a playful side that loves toys! Fetch is his favorite, and he`ll play it with toys of any kind. Spanky has an average energy level, and is a very happy, smiley boy! He`s clearly been practicing sitting on command. He`s pretty good at it, but doesn`t hold it for very long. He tends to get excited about getting the treat he knows he`s earning and will scoot towards you. He loves treats and takes them gently from your hand.
