`Incredibly sweet!` is a staff member`s notation on this boy`s record, and it`s the same comment our volunteer who took these pictures shared with us. That`s Cooper! He is 4 years old and was surrendered due to no fault of his own--the child in the family is allergic. Cooper is shy but friendly, housetrained, good with children, and does fine with other animals. In case you`re wondering about his pink nose, he got a little sunburn, but it`s healing nicely. Dog Day Out, 5/27/23:Cooper`s tail was a bit tucked as he exited the shelter. I thought he was going to be a bit shy, but he seemed to cheer up as we drove to my house. Once we hit my back yard and the leash came off, the tail came up! Cooper did great on the leash. He enjoys playing fetch, but not with any of the toys in our dog day out goodie bag....Cooper is a stick fetcher! He is also great at chilling. We played fetch quite a bit, and then settled on the lounge chair together--but he was a bit of a lounge chair hog! We had a really good adventure and I could tell as we arrived back at the shelter, he became timid again. Don`t let this fool you if you visit him. I think the shelter is a bit much for him, but he is a very good dog!
