Rosie has bounced around quite a bit in her young life, and it’s high time that she finds a forever home! She was given to someone as a gift and lived in that home for about a year before being surrendered to the shelter. In that home, she lived with kiddos and did well (though she jumped on them at times and should be trained not to do that). Her former person said that she loved to go on walks, knows sit and shake, and appreciates a good mud bath. Unfortunately, Rosie was kept outdoors and this led to her going on a few solo adventures, so a secure yard is a must! Rosie was then adopted from PACC and spent a few weeks in a new home. Her adopters said that she loves attention, chew toys, and playing in the water. That home was ultimately not the right fit, so Rosie is back at the shelter once again. Here’s what one of her volunteer friends said about her:“Rosie is an energetic dog who eagerly greets me when it’s time for a walk. I ask for a sit before leashing, and while she’s excited, Rosie settles down easily on our walk. She knows “sit” and “paw/shake”. Very responsive to verbal direction and would do well with an active family who can give her some structure. Super sweet.”Rosie shares her kennel with another dog, though she’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Rosie will do great with a breed savvy family who can help her channel all her wonderful shepherd qualities into positive pursuits! Ask to meet Rosie today!
