Adopt Mala a Black American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed dog in Shawnee

Mala is a happy, active girl who really likes people. She is potty trained and kennel trained but is still working on the rest of her house learning. It's just hard for her to imagine that people might not enjoy her 50 pound self jumping up to give them kisses. How else would those people know she loves them?! Mala is a busy girl who would make a great running partner. Or maybe you prefer taking long walks and stopping to sniff the grass? Great so does she! She loves her daily walks at the lake. There are so many good sniffs out there. She is still working on her car manners but her leash manners are good most of the time and getting better everyday. Just sometimes she catches a real good sniff and pretends she's doing search and rescue work. Mala really likes her snuffle mat, licky mat, puzzle toys, kongs. Any interactive feeder her foster mom has given her she has mastered almost immediately. She loves squeaky toys and nylabones. But once she's worked her brain and enjoyed her walk or play time she loves to curl up next to her person for naps. She's pretty sure she's a teeny, tiny lap dog and she wants to sit as close to her person as possible. She would thrive as an only pet for someone who is interested in an active, velcro dog. But if you do have a dog her size she would be willing to meet them and see if it works out. No smaller animal family members for this gal.
