Pax came to us from a multiple-dog family, so he is great with other dogs (especially his rescue roommate, Ace--see videos at https://youtu.be/H0k0iV_VYTw and https://youtu.be/_A0SCK8w7jA ). Still a puppy but almost 2 years old and weighing 62.5 lbs., he’s a high-energy and playful shepherd mix (it’s a guess) puppy. Vocal for one minute with strangers, he warms up quickly and winds up sitting on the stranger’s foot for a cuddle. He loves kids and playing fetch with a squeak toy but hasn’t yet perfected the return for another toss. This youngster is already neutered, heartworm negative, on parasite prevention, up to date on appropriate vaccinations, crate-trained, and working on leash-training. Highly food motivated, Pax is learning to work for and accept treats gently and is the perfect age to master all his new family’s household rules.This dog is sheltered in a foster based, nonprofit rescue. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering.
