Shepweiller Dog for Adoption in OCALA, Florida, 34475 USNickname: Pappy Posted Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Rottweiler / Mixed (short coat). "He gets along with cats, small dogs, mostly women and all children. He has always been great with his ‘brother’ until a fight caused by external factors lead to my other big boy being hurt. I was dumb enough to get in the middle and he got me pretty good but that was my fault, not his. He has had a few incidents with nipping/growling at people... Always in a highly intense situation with our other big male dog or him being highly protective towards my wife with a stranger approaching. Once he is introduced to new people, he is generally very accepting and loving even bordering on begging for attention. He leans towards women and children... or a very patient man. It has come to the point where I have no choice. Either find him someone who understands and can appreciate his loyalty or we give him to a shelter. I can't bear the thought of him being put down because he is a good pup with a good heart. We foster animals constantly and I want nothing more than for him to find a place where he can protect and cuddle the way he needs to. I will provide more than enough food and supplies to get anyone through for a while, as well as up to date vet records. I truly believe he is loyal to a fault. I will provide you with every account of his aggression and what lead him to that. I will also let you know that my wife took him to work every day in the Ocala office for a long time, and he loved to see all of the staff. Always broke out from his little gated area just to get treats and loving from everyone. He is handsome, sweet, and just needs a better home than we can provide for him. I would envision him with a backyard for his ever so often zoomies."
