Introducing Trever, a spirited Siberian Husky with a story to tell! Trever`s journey began when he was found as a stray and brought to the shelter, where he eagerly awaits a forever home. As a typical Husky, Trever is known for his vocal nature and penchant for howling and `talking` to express himself.This handsome Husky possesses a cat-like demeanor, initially appearing stand-offish and cautious around new people. However, given time, patience, and a loving environment, Trever is sure to warm up and form a strong bond with his new family. He needs an owner who understands his need for space and is willing to provide him with the time and support necessary to come out of his shell.Trever would benefit from dedicated training, including house training, leash manners, and basic obedience. Investing in his education will help him become a well-behaved and balanced companion. Due to Trever`s high energy level and vocal tendencies, the shelter staff does not recommend apartment living for him as well as a household with cats. Trever has cautiously met some young kids while in our care and actually does not mind them as long as they are respectful and know how to behave around dogs!While he may do well with other dogs, a meet and greet is strongly recommended to ensure compatibility in his future home. Trever has done will in playgroup as long as the other dogs give him plenty of space and respect his corrections when overstepping his boundaries.
