How is this sweet girl still looking for her forever home? Lucy is the sweetest 8 year old that had her life turned upside down earlier this year when her owner passed away. She loves curling up beside her person for a nap and getting lots of love and attention. Great with other dogs, perfectly house trained, and will do just about anything for a treat. She has been a good girl this year and is asking Santa for a family to call her own. Won’t you help her find a home for the holidays?Lucy has lost her dad when he died and a couple took her in when the family would not. Even though the couple would like to keep her their lifestyle working for the park system keeps the traveling with not home base. Lucy misses her home that never changes. Routine is good in her life. My Dad died on June 30th. My foster parents can't keep me because they travel a lot.I'm looking for a forever home. My Dad was told that I'm a Jack Russell mix. I'm about 8 years old. I am fixed and current on all my shots.Ilived the first 4 years of my life in a no kill shelter in Florida. Dad adopted me and we moved to KY. We were here for 4 years when he died.I get along fine with other dogs, chickens and a rabbit.I don't like cats. I tried to be a friend but got scratched.Right now I sleep in my carrier on Dad's pillow. I keep my toys with me but don't know what to do with them. I have a fenced yard to play in now. I like to go on walks and short car rides. (I don't like the rain and getting my feet wet.)I bark at people when I don't know them. I am unsure of how they will treat me. Once I get used to you I can be a good friend.Imiss sitting on my Dad's lap and sleeping next to him in bed. If you can be my new forever home, please reply or DM my foster mom. Thank you. Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee.
