Buster is an 8 month old Labrador mix brought to the shelter as a stray with his sister Bella. Buster is shy, but watches everyone carefully to determine if anyone is trustworthy. Buster will need a little time to get to know his family and trust them, but we can tell he wants to be part of a family. He needs the opportunity to become the dog he was meant to be. Buster is not aggressive and gets along with other dogs. If you want to truly save a dog, adopt Buster and save him from a lifetime of shelter life. Buster’s adoption fee is $100.00 and this includes sterilization, shots, and worming with an optional microchipping and registration for an additional $20.00. We have a dog park to check compatibility with existing dogs. Fill out an adoption application at heberspringshumanesociety.com. If your application is approved, a volunteer will contact you to set up a meet and greet appointment. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt a Pet. You must apply on our Heber Springs shelter website.Adoption processWe have an adoption contract and adoption fees. The fee for a dog is $100.00 and a cat is $60.00. The fee includes mandatory spay or neuter and vaccinations. If calling about an animal you may have to leave a message. Your call will be answered as soon as possible.Shelter locationOur shelter is located at 49 Shelter Lane in Heber Springs, Arkansas. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
