My name is "Callie". I am fiercely independent and found myself homeless and with kittens, even though I was a kitten myself! The nerve of people to not have spayed me! I ended up at a shelter, but they needed help when my milk dried up and the kittens were not gaining any weight at all. Lingering was the fear of "failure to thrive" for them all. Dove Road Sanctuary and Safe Haven stepped up for us all, and we are glad they did.Any cat is good with a dog that knows its limits, but I love to play with them and swat their nose so they know I am the queen of the castle. I play hide and seek with them too. I love to be pet when I want to be pet and love other cats to play with. My adoption fee includes vetting and our rescue's full microchip service.Adoption processEverything is donation based.
