Description:

MEET NASH!! This gorgeous ~2.5 year old, mixed breed weighs in at an athletic 63 lbs. We have no idea what breeds he is, but we see staffie/lab/polka dotted handsome retriever. Nash came to us from an underserved shelter in the south and had some medical concerns. He is now missing a toe on one of his hind feet, but that doesn't slow him down in the least. Nash can leap, spin, chase toys and zoomy like the ebullient pup he is. Nash keeps a clean kennel and is crate trained. He doesn't know any basic commands, but he is so people and treat motivated that training him will be fairly easy and mostly fun. Nash has played well with a female dog, but now that he is fully healed, we can test him with males dogs. Nash loves to play with sturdy toys and squeaky balls. He will play keep away from his handlers but will drop his toy on command. Nash has not been cat tested, but we think he will leave them alone with a firm 'leave it.' He does not like to have his feet touched, so we do not recommend that he go into a home with children under age 10. Nash's adoption donation fee is $375, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip. You can apply for Nash by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.net or www.tarashouse.org.
