Betty is a newer intake so we are still getting to know her personality. Now she is a larger size bun & requires the space to exercise & roam. Unfortunately her owner became ill & was no longer able to care for her. She is very social, once she gets to know you, she loves attention, pets on the nose & will boop you if you stop! Her favorite green is parsley, which just a little bit, along with her never ending supply of hay. Along with her spunky personality, she likes to play with her stackable cups, baby keys & enrichment cardboard cut outs. Best of all, she is spayed & is great with her litter box!January 23, 2024, 9:00 amAdoption processWe vet check our potential adopters and give an extensive questionnaire as part of the application. We deny adoptions for any reason including previous history with animal abuse, no vet record for current pets, not planning to spay/neuter when of age, etc. We also provide education to the adopters who are unsure about rabbit care, handling, or diet and provide support even after the rabbit is rehomed. The adopters are required to have a 2 week foster period to ensure that the rabbit will work out for the family and the adoption contract states that the animals must be returned to our facility in the event of needing to rehome in the future. We also schedule the spay/neuter with the adopter before taking home the animal.Shelter locationBy appointment Wed thru Sat 10-4
