Hi my name's Pinky! I'm a petite, perfect-sized 42 pounds and I'm young--only about one year old. I'm looking for a home with a confident pack leader who will continue to show me structure and boundaries. I'm selective with people and I need a moment to know I can trust you before I'm showing you any affection. But once I trust you and know my place in the pack, I'm affectionate with an adorable wiggle butt. I think I would be best as the only pet in the home as I'm dog selective and don't really enjoy cats. I have lots of energy and love to go on structured walks and learn new skills. I was found as a stray in pretty bad shape, but TLRD whisked me away from the shelter and to a great vet. The staff there helped me get started on the path to healing. Puppies and kittens will be spayed/neutered and have all shots when they are old enough. There is an Adoption application, a quick phone interview to make sure it is a good fit, a meet and greet with the dog, then a home check, and an adoption contract. We ask for a $400 donation for adult dogs, and $500 for puppies at the time of adoption so that we can save other dogs from the shelter.
