Douglas showed up at someone's house and they brought him to the shelter. After a month, his tailed developed a severe case of kennel tail and we amputated it. His docked tail gives him a Doberman look, but we think he is more Lab. He is 5-6 years old, UTD with his shots, heartworm negative, neutered and chipped. Really sweet boy, likes to play, good on a leash and good with other dogs, but he does play rough and that could be intimidating to a smaller dog.Adoption processAll of our animals are adopted as indoor pets with outdoor privileges. Our adoption fee for dogs is $100. Adoption fee for cats is $45. Filling out of adoption form is required. We adopt out of state and will work with reputable rescues. All phone calls will be returned within a 24 hour period.Shelter locationThe shelter is open to the public Tuesday - Friday from 9-2 and on Saturdays from 9-12. Or by appointment. We will make arrangements for meet and greets outside of Washington if necessary.
