Dewey is an 8 months old tabby kitten, with a calm personality and very soft fur. He relies heavily on watching other cats to know what to do. Once he is comfortable Dewey likes to play alongside any of his brothers with string toys and pom poms. He also really likes the older kitties in his foster home and rubs on them for affection. Dewey is looking for a stable home with another cat for him to play with—maybe one of his brothers, Louie or Huey. He cannot be a solo cat. His current foster home has older cats. Dewey is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and negative for FIV/FeLV.To adopt Dewey, request an application at esvhadopt@gmail.comAdoption processAdopting a kitty (refers to both cats and kittens), is fun and at the same time, a lifetime commitment. An application is given to potential adopters asking some basic questions. There is an adoption agreement reflecting all the vet information and agreement terms. Foster parents are always delighted to answer questions. To provide continuity for the kitty, the foster parent will deliver the kitty to the new home. To help defray the cost of veterinary care, we ask an adoption fee of $125.00 or two for $200.00. For older cats, we often have sponsors to cover the fee.Shelter locationSaturdays 11-4 ...
