Age: Approximately 4 years Weight: 80 pounds Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Unknown Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes Rinda, meaning “great one” in Norse mythology, is indeed a gentle, watchful, and calm great one. Rinda came from MO where she was deemed an “inconvenience” due to her fear of goats. We are unsure of much more of her history, although she does have anxiety with new places, new noises, new people. This looks like her spending time in her safe space (her crate) and venturing out for smaller amounts of time on her schedule. She is learning to trust her foster family and enjoy the love of people. Rinda LOVES being petted and at times will jump on the couch or bed with her foster family. She still spooks easily and is slower to trust. Rinda is discovering she enjoys romping in the fenced back yard and smelling everything. She is an incredible walker and enjoys walks on the leash; Rinda is also potty and crate trained and knows some basic commands. Rinda will need extra patience, guidance, and love as she comes out of her shell to become more outgoing and trusting. To help her in this process, a confident resident dog is REQUIRED in her home.
